The available evidence consists predominantly of preclinical animal and cell studies, computational analyses, and narrative reviews of traditional formulas, with very limited clinical trial data directly evaluating Rehmannia for anemia; one small randomized controlled trial in kidney disease patients found no significant difference in anemia outcomes when a Rehmannia-containing formula was added to standard care.
