Privacy policy

Last updated: March 18, 2026

Noyemi ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

Information you provide

If you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store plaintext passwords). If you use the AI Supplement Advisor, we store your queries and responses to provide your query history. If you save a supplement stack, we store the supplements you've added.

Information collected automatically

When you visit Noyemi, we may collect standard server log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use invasive tracking or build advertising profiles.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session if you have an account. We may use analytics cookies to understand aggregate site usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.

How we use your information

We use collected information to: operate and improve the site, provide account features (saved stacks, query history), process AI Supplement Advisor queries, detect and prevent abuse of rate-limited features, and understand aggregate usage patterns. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

AI Supplement Advisor

When you use the AI Supplement Advisor, your query is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Noyemi includes relevant database context (ingredient data, research summaries, interaction information) alongside your query. Anthropic's data usage policies apply to API interactions. We do not include your email address or personal identity in API requests. Your query text and the AI response are stored in your account history so you can review past conversations.

Affiliate links

Noyemi contains affiliate links to supplement retailers. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set their own cookies to track the referral. Noyemi tracks which affiliate links are clicked (associated with your account if logged in) to measure the effectiveness of product suggestions. We do not share your browsing history or health-related queries with affiliate partners.

Donations

If you make a donation via Stripe, your payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We receive your email address and donation amount but do not receive or store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information. Cryptocurrency donations are processed using public wallet addresses and are visible on the respective blockchains.

Data retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@noyemi.com. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Your choices

You can use Noyemi's encyclopedia content without creating an account or providing any personal information. Account creation is only required for the AI Supplement Advisor. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. You can clear your saved stack and query history from your account settings.

Children's privacy

Noyemi is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as we add features. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
